We are excited for the future and our continued growth! Our Technology Services team is again seeking talented individuals in the role of Infrastructure Project Manager. This position will reside in our Ohio locations: Cleveland or Akron. There will be some travel to other office locations or for training (< 5%).

The infrastructure Project Manager will be a member of the Infrastructure team working to provide secure and effective environments and tools to support the needs of the firm and our clients. Using an agile framework, the ideal candidate will work closely with teammates within Technology Services as well as other team members from across the firm to support all aspects of project management. This includes cross functional planning, reporting, and metrics related to current and upcoming projects.

The role requires a person who is very organized and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. The successful candidate will be able to understand and speak to the technologies involved. This role will interface directly with team members, firm employees, and vendors.


  • Build and track project plans and activities including risks, change management, and issue resolution
  • Manage backlog of new projects ensuring proper investigation and preparation has taken place
  • Build, maintain, and report on project and sprint based metrics and project updates
  • Communicate and collaborate with teams across Technology Services relating to cross functional dependencies and their impacts
  • Provide "what if" scenarios when new projects are discussed to understand impacts and timing implications to current projects
  • Engage with project teams to assist with creation of documentation and training materials
  • Engage with the infrastructure team to assist with maintenance of systems, network, and infrastructure documentation and diagrams
  • Track and monitor equipment life and proactively identify replacement and retirement needs
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with individuals at all levels of the firm
  • Able to work independently and in a cross functional team environment
  • Able to understand processes and tools to assist with problem solving and asking the right questions without being an expert in the subject matter
  • Security-first mindset in development of any environment or process
  • Actively participate in team activities and knowledge sharing, including scrum ceremonies
  • Actively participate in definition and refinement of team processes and activities
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with all members of the Technology Services team (Infrastructure, DevOps, End User Technologies, Security, Development)
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to achieve business objectives

Experience and Skills:

Core Competencies

  • Project Management experience in an Agile environment
  • Time management, organization, and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of the Infrastructure and Software Development Lifecycles
  • Hands-on infrastructure experience a plus
  • Experience managing multiple active projects managing critical paths for each
  • Experience managing and communicating risks of projects

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience
    • 3+ years experience in an IT position
    • 3+ years experience in an IT project management position
    • 3+ years experience operating in an Agile environment


  • IT Infrastructure knowledge preferred
  • Experience with JIRA project management tool a plus
  • Keen sense of creative thinking, attention to detail and problem solving
  • Self-directed learner, with the ability to pick up new technologies on their own
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical ability, true problem solver
  • A solid understanding of professional service firms is a plus
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion
  • Strong communication skills
