We are excited for the future and our continued growth! Our Information Technology team is seeking talented individuals in the role of Software Engineer. These positions will reside in any of our Ohio locations: Cleveland, Akron, or Youngstown. There will be some travel to other office locations or for training (< 5%).

The Software Engineer will be a member of the Information Technology team working in an agile team oriented environment supporting each of the firm’s business lines. The Software Engineer will support and maintain all technologies used by Firm employees. This covers all areas of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation (coding), integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality solutions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, and implement web applications using Typescript, Vuejs, Nuxt, Nodejs, express, and related frameworks
  • Document, maintain, support, and extend existing web applications
  • Research and recommend technical solutions to fit business needs
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies

Experience and Skills:

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience

Qualifications

  • Experience designing widely used, well liked, and performant web applications
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion
  • Ability to communicate well across the organization by:
    • Communicating work progress and issues within an agile team
    • Communicating pros and cons of technical solutions within the development team
    • Communicating how technical solutions meet business needs to business stake holders
