Many firm wide initiatives are often developed and executed by our Corporate Shared Services Department which includes Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Information Technology.Our team is seeking an energetic and organized individual to join our Human Resources team! We are looking to hire an entry-level Campus Recruiting Coordinator to start with us in May of 2020 or sooner. We are looking for someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys responsibility, has a good work ethic, and is ready to run with our team! We need someone who can build relationships with employees in the office and build relationships with candidates by keeping his/her "boots on roots" on campus. This position will reside in our Cleveland, Ohio office.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Campus Recruiting
    • Generate interest from students and sell our internship and entry-level opportunities during Accounting Career Fairs and general Business Career Fairs
    • Evaluate candidates during On-Campus Interviews
    • Maintain relationships with career services professionals and accounting professors
    • Present to Beta Alpha Psi , Women in Business, National Association of Black Accountants, and other campus organizations
    • Create new presentations for campus to keep students engaged
    • Suggest ways which we can continue building our brand on campus and ways to stay top-of-mind to accounting students and our campus contacts
    • Lead our Campus Ambassador Program to keep previous Interns engaged with the firm until they return as entry-level Staff Accountants
    • Coordinate our Cohen Leadership Day for students who may be interested in accounting and generate new ideas on how we should be structuring the day’s events
    • Manage our content and @CohenCareers twitter page
    • Work with our Graphic Designer to create flyers for campus and online announcements as it relates to campus recruiting
    • Coordinate and work with others internally to record new videos for our page
    • Schedule and attend networking events, information tables, campus presentations, and other campus events
    • Lead trainings to our Staff Accountants & Senior Accountants on expectations for attending campus recruiting events
    • Travel to different markets for Accounting Career Fairs, On-Campus Interviews, and campus presentations
    • Organize future hire events for new hire to meet each other and some Staff Accountants between the time when they sign and offer with us and start working the following year
    • Register and facilitate logistics to attend Accounting Career Fairs, and post available positions for each school’s On-Campus Interview days
    • Pack bags for Campus Representatives attending events on campus
    • Help coordinate candidates into the office for our Round Robin recruiting events
    • Print interview packets for interviewers to prepare for Round Robins
  • Recruiting Administration
    • Post available corporate and experienced accounting positions in our applicant tracking system (ATS) and job boards
    • Schedule and conduct phone interviews and office interviews
    • Ensure each candidate has an positive interview experience with us
    • Help with various recruiting administration tasks

Experience and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Preferred Majors: Communication Studies, Strategic Communication, Psychology, or related field
  • GPA: Minimum 3.2
  • The ability to handle confidential information
  • Traveling to various campuses and other offices/markets is required
  • 3 months- 2 years of related experience
  • A sense of urgency and a high standard of professionalism
  • The ability to manage multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with recruiting or in a Professional Services firm is preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong documentation and organization skills
  • Solid verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
